Graham Taylor, PhD

Scientific Advisor

Dr. Taylor is a Senior Lecturer position and Senior Fellow at the University of Birmingham, School of Cancer Sciences, UK. He has worked on therapeutic vaccination as a treatment for Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated cancers. He developed a first-in-class therapeutic vaccine candidate. He led four Phase I/II trials performed with the vaccine candidate and he was awarded the NCRI Translational research prize in 2015. Dr. Taylor is an expert on high-plex single cell assays such as mass cytometry and high dimensional data analysis to understand the biology underpinning complex systems. He developed a mass cytometry panel with 40+ markers on immune cells from samples collected from clinical studies. More recently, Dr. Taylor has devoted his efforts to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, including performing preclinical studies to investigate the T-cell response to SARS-CoV-2 and using T-cell clones to characterize exosome-based vaccine candidates developed by Exosis.
